Advice for a shy guy?

Being that I am a very introverted person and quiet when it comes to the opposite I know what it is like. I just advise you to just be yourself. When I meet guys some are shy at first but then after their comfort level increases their personality shines more. If you just cannot feel comfortable around someone then obviously it wont work.
