Im really confused about this. please help (kinda long story)?

ok so ive liked this guy since 6th grade (im in 9th now) and for some reason no matter how hard i try i cant get over him. in the 6th grade he found out i had liked him and appearently he liked me too but then though because of that we were boyfriend and girlfriend and it caught me offgaurd and i was only 12 so i got kinda scarred (dont ask why i still dont know why) and just dumped him really harshly anyhow onto the story and we talked a lot last year and we like aquaintences and so then this year came and we still weree really nice to eachother and then like all of a sudden he started being a total jerk to me and i had said something and he had made it into a dirty joke and he says it like everyday and it makes me really sad when i think about it and then he'll look at me and just stare and ill look at him too but then he gets a weird expression on his face and just says stop starring at me! or just gets really angry at me and i dont really know what to do cause ive liked him for such a long time and he has a girlfriend right now so i dont know what to do. does he like me or is he just messing with me cause he thinks its funny? help? thanks.
