I have a road trip problem.?

I'm a LSU student in Baton Rouge and I am trying to get to a party in Houston tonight. If you have watch the news since Friday, you'll know why I have a problem. Part of I-10 is on fire, bummer right. what would be a suitable route, before I get killed in conventional detour traffic?
