Testing wind direction: What is the politically correct religion to belong to in the USA today?

Judging by recent history, a member of a large, non-controversial, charitable Mainline Protestant denomination is what people elect. Baptist is also OK for Democrats, and Repubs seem to be fine with more evangelical language.
