There is very good Fort get destroying in Darbangha (Bihar), can we Indian protect it as the ancient monument?

My job trip to Darbangha (Bihar) I came to across a very good acient Fort wall but becaue of the ignorance of local goverment its get destroying so any body suggest me how we can protect the chapter of our acient histroy.??
